How to check JAMB Result by phone via SMS USSD Code

Before now you can check your result by sending RESULT to 55019 with the phone number you created your JAMB profile during JAMB registration, but it has recently been changed by the authorities of the stated institution. Now you can check by texting UTMERESULT to 55019 or 66019. JAMB will send you a response depending on your status. Don’t panic if you receive a strange response like ‘You Do Not Have Any Result Yet’, JAMB results are released in batches, so just rest and check back later or you can speak directly with other students and staff on passbuttons.

1. If a candidate uses a phone number that was not used to register, a message will be sent to him thus: ‘This phone number was not used for registration.”
2. A candidate with a result will receive the message: “Dear Mr/Miss X, your result is as follows… (and the details will be provided).
3. Withheld, a “Result Withheld” message will be sent to the candidate.
4. If a candidate belongs to the category being given the benefit of the doubt, the message to the person will be: “Result withheld pending the upload of clarifications/document required from you.”
5. If a candidate was absent, s/he would get “CANDIDATE ABSENT” as feedback
6. A candidate that was ABSENT WITH REGISTRATION NUMBER also CANCELLED will be so informed.
7. “Invalid Entrance into the Exam Hall” will be sent to a candidate who gained unauthorized access to the examination hall.

How to Check JAMB result 2023 online from your JAMB portal dashboard. 

To check JAMB results via your JAMB portal dashboard, you need an internet-enabled device such as a laptop or smartphone. You can preferably visit any cyber cafe near you.

1. Step 1: Go JAMB result-checking portal at https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng/
2. Step 2: Enter your Email Address and Password in the required spaces to login
3. Step 3: Locate the list of services, find “Print Result Slip and click on it
4. Step 4: Choose a payment option and continue to payment
5. Step 5: If your payment is successful, the process to check and print your result slip (select your exam year and JAMB registration number in the appropriate fields)
6. Step 6:  Click Print. You will be able to download or print your JAMB result.

Note: You will be charged N1,500 to access your JAMB result slip to print your original results slip with your passport photograph attached.
